Pastor's Update - March 20, 2020

Greetings New Life Family,

As these unprecedented times continue, we are taking steps to ensure the health and safety of our church family.

The Plan Forward

We will continue to host online live Worship & The Word via live streaming. You can join us on our website (newlifeterrehaute.com/live) or on our Facebook page (fb.com/newlifeterrht).

We give special thanks to Governor Eric Holcomb for publicly supporting the live streaming of worship services.

Until conditions change please participate in our online services. This is a critical time to read the Bible; worship with the praise team, and hear the preached Word. Also, Bible discussions and family prayer is imperative.

  • Our Service Schedule for Online Live Streaming:Sunday, March 29th for our Sunday Service at 10am.
  • Wednesday, April 1st for Midweek Bible Study at 6:30pm with Kids Church following.
  • Sunday, April 5th for our Sunday Service at 10am.
  • Wednesday, April 8th for our Communion Service at 6:30pm. We are asking every family to be prepared for Communion with grape juice & a wafer. Kids Church will follow.

NOTE: Our facilities remain closed for all activities. However, our Church office is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 2pm.

Giving of Tithes and Offerings

The operational expenses of New Life are ongoing. I am asking everyone to continue to give in tithes and offerings whether through online giving, by mail, or dropping it off at the church office. Our missionaries, building fund, and food pantry ministries are depending on your faithful giving. I have also asked for those who can, to give a special love offering. Some only give when they come to the church service, leaving a deficit now that we have adjusted our services to live stream. I thank you for your faithfulness.

We will continue to monitor the appropriate news, government, and health agencies that are providing updates. I am encouraging everyone to continue to take precautions in daily activities, especially those members who have underlying medical issues.

In Christ alone we put our trust,

Pastor Jeffrey Harpole
